The Plaintiffs are a limited Company with their regis-
tered office at No.2 Kiukiang Road Shanghai.

The Plaintiffe are and at all material times were the
owners of the steamship Wollowra.
3.
On or about the 30th November 1917 the Government of
the Colony of Hongkong requisitioned the said steamship
took control of her and placed her under the management of
Messrs. Dodwell & Co.,Ltd. of Hongkong.
4. In or about April 1918 the said Government restored
the said Steamship to the managements of the Plaintiffs but
retained control of her and her movements and engagements
until the 31st day of January 1919 when she was restored to
the Plaintiffs her owners.
5. During the period that the said Steamship was under
the requisition or control of the said Government the Government received in respect of the earnings of the said Steamship the gross sum of $835,465.89 and have paid to the Plaintiffs the gross sum of $238,793.55 and have retained
as profit the sum of $596,672.34.
